Je Suis goes Africain

The time has come to amaze you with some new jewelry from Je Suis. This time we go Africain.

Last night Julia Merosi released her new African jewelry set.

The full set is having a Bellychain (and omg i so love that one), 2 kind of Bracelets dark and light with a zebra print, Earhoops, and a long and short necklace.
The necklace you can wear seperate or wear the 2 sizes at the same time to have a extra long necklace. The necklaces can be worn at the chest or spine so you can combi it with any outfit and jacket.

The set is comming incl a menu so you can change size but also change the color of the beads (hotpink, green, purple, orange, red, black, brown, blue, white, natural, red, Turquase), the strings and the metals (gold, silver and rust). Also the earhoops come with a color change menu.

All Scripts in the jewelry can be removed for less lag (always besure to make a copy).
You can copy the jewels in your inventory and each copy will keep its colors and other settings when you wear them again. So you can store a copy of matching jewels in the folder for an outfit after you set up the colors

I matched this jewelry set with the Amalfi bikini from Baiastice. My skin comes from Bodyline and is named sara. and the hair i am wearing is the Makeda Full Wig from Vanity Hair.

Go and check out the new jewelry at Je Suis

The first picture is made by Julie Hastings herself and i am very proud to be in her add for this lovely and beautiful tattoo, always such a big honor to work with her.

Pretty Women

Say bonjour to fuller figures and longer hemlines as the skirt and dress silhouettes of the late ’50s / early ’60s swing their way back onto the scene as a 2010 /2011 fashion trend.

When we talk about the ’60s dress or skirt in this context, we’re not talking about the later, mod ’60s movement of miniskirts and teeny shift dresses. We’re talking about early ’60s ladylike dressing that flowed on from the late 1950s.

For my shirt i was looking for something bright and fresh wich brought me to Chantkare. They have such lovely and colorfull designs this summer and i felt in love with the jacket i am wearing today wich is the Ming Vintage jacket in red. The Tassels that comes with the jacket are optional but give a very nice detail to the jacket.

The overflow of ’50s prom style dresses into ’60s day wear. Full, below-the-knee circle skirts, cinched in waists, and prim, proper styling. Something wich we will see back is the granny skirt.
Don’t panic about the name of this one; this look actually was commonly known as the granny skirt back in the ’60s haha. The key to pulling off this look today is to either make it completely effortless, or surprisingly sexy

The skirt i am wearing today is the Daisy – black system skirt from Kunglers. Did you see the black waist band, for the cute effect. So adorable dont you think.

For a sensual, early ’60s look i choose the Tiffany hair from Vanity Hair. But ofcourse you can also fit it more into 2010/2011 and then just choose hair trends like a messy topknot.

To make my style a little more 60′s and more complete i am wearing the gladys glasses in red from Artilleri. The earrings i am wearing are a part of the Curie ruby set from R.A.Crystal. The bracelets are the Pearl Rain Bracelets in Onyx color from Mandala. My nails are from CCD (Caithlin Carter) and are the girl next door long nails in red.

My shoes are the Damasamba Pumps from Baiastice. They are so well made and i really couldnt resit to buy them. Check out those textures and in combi with the straps they are so unique. The pumps come in 10 colors.
I think they are a must have in every female inventory.

Ofcourse also today i didnt go out without a bag. The bag of today is from Miel. This glitter bag comes with and witout animations and you can change the color of the bag.

Have fun with shopping 😉

Back to the 70’s

In recent years we’ve worn the best of the 20s and 30s, seen the rebirth and fading of an 80s come back, and we’re just about to do it all again. But this time, its the 1970s that are due for a reinterpretation.  While 70′s fashion is making waves and sure to continue on as a fashion trend in 2011, let’s not forget that there are several variants. And you know what that means; all the more ways to get lots of wear out of your key seventies pieces, by taking them from 70′s boho to a more sophisticated 70′s look.

By day it’s all about clean yet voluminous silhouettes, and earthy 70′s colour palettes.

One of the things that is coming back from the 70′s is the High waisted wide-leg pants. The pants i am wearing today is the boyfriend shorts in brown from Deetalez. By this pants you can choose to use a belt or the version i am wearing today with a highwaist Bow. Roll neck sweaters tucked into pants or skirts are also something that comes back from the 70′s. I didnt choose for a sweater but for the Miraji Body Black designed by CheerNo. One of the effects from the 70′s is working with layers and over my body top i am wearing the Chocolat Short Trench jacket from Maitreya.

The hair i am wearing is the Christina – caramel from Truth. I also like to mention that the 100% of the payment of this hairs (and all hair from truth untill september 19th) goes to the UNICEF Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund.  Today’s skin is the LAQ ~ Elena skin (fair) wich gave me this natural look.

My brown shoes are the Dncorde Danse boots from LeeZu. I have blogged them before but they are just the perfect combi for me with this outfit.

To finish my outfit i am using the brown/gold nails from Mandala and this cute Big Clutch brown bag is from So many Styles

Think you again have some great things to shop about. All designes come in more colors so you can mix and match until you drop 😉

Military Fashion

During some styling this weekend i came up with this fine stylish combination of designs. I was getting told to be inspired by the rl Military Fashion and this was something i needed to dare to do and i must say i mixed and matched all the way haha.

Military fashion as a trend is nothing new. But with all that’s going on in the world the military trend couldn’t be more present-day and that’s why this look refuses to submit as it keeps evolving into new variations.

This season designers rl and on sl took their inspiration browsing through every military uniform era in the archives. From Napoleonic styled jackets with high stand collars to gold bordered hussar influenced garments to admiral coats, the military jacket is a winter fashion statement. Think metal buttons and stick to colours like navy, grey and even red. Leave khaki hues for the spring season. Add a bit of runway glamour by teaming up the jacket with jeans or jersey dresses and knee high boots.

First i started with my jacket. The jacket you are seeing is a part of the Diram Cheryl Attire. The black top under my jacket is coming from Cynthia Smit, i used the partygirl top in black/silver. To get a good trendy pants i thought that would be difficult but when you want something original why dont you go to CheerNo, they also have some female designs (and i hope they will make more of them). The pants is the CheerNo Femme Samy Pants and just look at those cool details at the sides of the pants.

Then we get to a point where we need boots hahaa and that was one of the hardest stuff because you want something trendy and dont endup with shoes you always wear so i choose the black western boots from J’s

Something i love to use are those female gloves where you see some of your vingers and hands, i remember i saw them at xplosion and used the blacklace space gloves from them. The nails i am using are from Caithlin Carter (the diva black nails). The belt is from Mandala, and the sunglasses are from Steinwerk Designs. My earrings come from Glow Studio today and last but not least is my hair from Argrace and is named the Military Cap “Loose Chignon”.

Poses today are from Di’s Opera

StylingCard Part III

Here we go! Lytham wants to show off her new outfit!

I decided it was “Bo” time. I had to relax a bit and just do some shopping. I opened my Landmarks folder and went to every store I could find in my invent. Beeing all happy and relaxed, every now and then an IM..

I re-discoverd Cynthia Smith her store! I haven’t been there in ages. She made lot’s of awesome new tops, wich obviously made me spend way to much time in that store. Simply because I couldn’t choose wich top I was going to choose. Mommy Lytham was on a budget today. So no fatpacks this time.

After buying the top I decided to take a look at Calypso Giano. She makes the most terrific jeans. Lowrise, Ultra Lowrise.. Normal… With drawings and without drawings. There are so many styles to choose from. Ofcourse again frustrating for me today since I could pick only 1 thing! I went for this cute skirt! The texture is so beautiful and looks so real.

So.. I was almost ready with my outfit… SHOES! Yeah! Women and shoes! \o/ I went to Gos this time and was amazed by the beautiful detailed shoes they sell there. And the most awesome thing is.. You buy the shoes and whenever you want, you can buy POLISH for you shoes, wich comes with a totally simple menu that loads the new polish into your shoes menu.
I bought black shoes to begin with.. And now i’ve got 2 other styles for 1/3th of the original price (each) of the shoes.

While wearing my new outfit I knew it wasn’t ready.. I needed a legging! Not a plain legging but something more exciting. Where ever to buy such a thing as at Linc!

A few days earlier I bought the pearl neckless at Sissi. The neckless and I seem not to be able to seperate from eachother. I am totally in love with it and its wearable with so many clothing styles, since its all colorable in every color you want, by just going into the edit mode.

What else was missing? I needed a new piercing! Also something more exciting than only the lippiercing. But not to heavy. I went to Starpiercing and bought several piercings there. The store is huge and has got as well as piercings for male as female. I am in love with that store and if you love to wear piercings, you really should take a look over there! Also a big plus, the prices of the piercings are good! Absolutely not expensive and affordable for everybody.

The hair is from Maitreya. Ya’ll must know by now that i’m addicted to that store. The best textures and the best hairdues ever! I already had that one in my invent. It was the first hairdue I bought when I came back to SL. It’s called Bo… *ding ding*

The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched, but are felt in the heart.. Just keep remembering that.

Yours truly,
Bo Lytham
